Back from the Dead?

Hello!

I don't know if anyone will read this, I mean it's been at least four months since I posted anything...

SO...what's new? :)

Lots has been happening with me, too much to mention really. I've settled into college pretty well, of course there's been some crappy days, but thumbs up so far.

2009 has been a good year so far.

It's a beautiful day in Dublin today, I actually have an opportunity to wear my sunglasses and not look like a twat. YYYs are playing in the background.

Life is good.

I'll check in soon, promise. ;D

Christmas Lights!!

This week has been good, great even!

Right now, I am so tired. I've an essay due in a week and a half, so that's a bit of a downer, but hey, it'll be grand, great even!

What's really exciting me is CHRISTMAS IS COMING! Yaaaaaay! :D I love the commercialism of it all! They turned on the Christmas lights in Dublin, (council wanted people to start shopping early due to the evil recession!), so walking down O'Connell St. and Grafton St. is deadly.

Fight Like Apes are such a great band. I've been listening to their album 'Fight Like Apes and the Mystery of the Golden Medallion.' It's a great album. I've been listening to Mazzy Star's 'So Tonight That I Might See' and Ladyhawke. Yes, I love my obscure music! (:

I missed the O.C. all this week. I am so raging. But, they skipped Season 3 of the show on E4 reruns, so now I think I'll just buy the DVDs!

Gossip Girl
has been excellent lately, Vanessa is such a bitch! Seriously!

I don't know if anyone watches the X Factor, but thank GOD Daniel has been voted off. About time like. I'm still majorly upset Laura is gone. :'(

College has been excellent this week, I love meeting new people and I got that opportunity this week. Went out last night to see 90's relics the Venga Boys in the Button Factory. Wow, what a great 40 minutes that was! Went to a nightclub afterwards called Citibar with a friend of mine Suzanne and we randomly met people from our lectures there! It was crazy, really fun though. 2.50 euro tequila shots are always fun! :)

So yeah, that's everything about this week. Tomorrow, I'm gonna blog about stuff.

Random fact you didn't know about me: Tyra Banks really irritates me!

Favourite song of the week: Into Dust - Mazzy Star. I love this band, Hope Sandoval is a great singer!

Also, love Hot N' Cold by Katy Perry, it's so happy. :)

Breaking news: S Club 7 are reuniting! Yaaay! :D

What I'd Love

More blog followers.

That'd be deadly.

Spread the word.

We can be big.

Trust me. ;)

Something to Write About

That's pretty much what I'm lacking this exact moment.

Not in like a bad way or anything, but like, I'm content now to not write about anything and I know sometime, tomorrow, two months, three years from now, I'll start writing about something worthwhile to me, something I want to talk about, something will click in me and it'll set me going.

When that happens, look fast if you want to catch me. :)

Till then, I'm content to blog a bit here and there, when something I want to talk about, music, Gossip Girl, my life in general, college and other deadly stuff. Maybe someday I'll write a post as Gaeilge. That'd be deadly, right? (:

So yeah, everything is deadly and stuff is class and I hope whoever reads this is as happy as I am. Life can sometimes get us down, but we gotta hold our heads above it.

Trust me, it's all coola-boola.

Ciao for now ;)

I Am So Happy

Ok, right I know I have to actually write my other blog posts first and theres lots of stuff I SHOULD do, but fuck it! :D

I am so incredibly happy, I actually have no idea what's brought this on, just like, everything is so deadly right now. What's been happening lately with me? Well.....

I turned 18 last Sunday! It was so deadly like! I actually didn't do anything for my actual birthday, stayed in with my Mam (she still isn't well...) and we watched Memoirs of A Geisha. It was pretty awesome! I love Japan!

Katy Perry is some excellent. Hot N Cold is fantastic.

ANYWAY, college was good this week, definitely settling in now, making new friends and stuff. My course is so class, I actually love it. But, this whole week I've just been waiting for my birthday party, which was last night, Friday the 14th!!

Okay seriously, it was actually THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!

So much happened, there was so much preparation for it, I was so nervous beforehand, lots of people didn't come, lots of people did, photos everywhere, awful cringeworthy stuff, a last minute outfit crisis, a man thong, drunken mothers and dancing on stages, the fanciest hotel in the WORLD, fifty kisses, rocking out to Killing in the Name Of with my brother Ger, my sisters Grace and Shell, Marie, my cousin, Aoife, Shane and Hannah, the most amazing presents ever, horrible insults, sore legs, double vodkas, drunken bonding, creepy old men, generous relatives, expensive dresses, red ties, ABBA, crying girls, CAKE-FACE, licked crisps, minute long hugs, a super secret present I still haven't got, stretcher bitches, 'knickers ahoy!', waltzing, Rihanna, stripping, 'womanizing'.

All this makes the most amazing experience of my life. It really makes me appreciate my family, my friends, how much people care about me and how much I care about them. It was exactly what I wanted, what I needed and what a lot of people needed. I know this party will stay with me forever, so fantastic, so amazing, so....wow.

So, you can say it was pretty good. ;)

Hero #2: Wallis Bird

I admit, I did say that Blair Waldorf would be my Hero #2, but I said I'd go for a local hero of mine, the amazing folk singer-songwriter Wallis Bird.

Review: Supernatural Season 2

The second season of Supernatural (the first of which I already reviewed) is basically about two brothers, Sam and Dean who hunt all kinds of supernatural creatures. As is the case with most TV shows, the first season mainly establishes the characters, the concept, the setting and all that, while the second season delves into the story deeper and that certainly holds true for Supernatural.
